Dr. Ajay Dutta Profile

Dr. Ajay Dutta is Assistant Professor & Head Department of Computer Science and Applications at B.A.M. Khalsa College, Garhshankar 144527, Hoshiarpur Punjab, Affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh (India). His research & teaching interest areas like e-Governance, e-Commerce Web Programming and Digital Marketing. In academic and IT Industry career spanning over 11 years, he has attended more than 20 relevant trainings and courses for continuous learning; has acted as a resource person in more than 11 Faculty/Employee Development Programs. As  researcher, he has presented 10 research papers in national & international conferences and seminars. He has published 10 research papers in conference proceedings, more than 6 research papers in Journals and author of 4 edited books. He has undertaken over 3 consultancy projects for various companies.

His Ph.D. in e-Governance from Department of Computer Science and  Applications, Punjab University Chandigarh, India. He had worked in Technorite Consultant Pvt. Ltd. prior to joining Ph.D. He served various e-Governance projects like Punjab Land Record Computerization, Municipals Corporations Computerization, Grievance Management System, Punjab State Warehousing Corporation (PSWC) Computerization, Haryana State Board of Technical Education Computerization and NRI Punjab Department Grievance portal development. 

He is a member of various organisations such as Computer Society of India, Special Interest Group on e-Governance under CSI, Internet Society of Computers (ISOC),Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP), Inclusive Policy Lab (IPL) Expert(UNESCO), Senior Member of Hong Kong Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society and Member of  Society of Digital Information and Wireless Communications (SDIWC). 

He has been an invited resource person at Terminal Ballistics Research Laboratory (TBRL) Laboratory of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Ramgarh and Department Of Official Language, Ministry Of Home Affairs, Chandigarh. He has present research paper at 10th International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance (ICEGOV) coordinated by the United Nations University Operating Unit on Policy-Driven Electronic Governance (UNU-EGOV).

His research in e-Governance area under the guidance of Prof. M. Syamala Devi and Dr. Manish Arora.

Responsibilities:  This project is at state level. As a member of software development team we have designed website from where common man can get the details of their land by sitting at their homes.

PROJECT#2 Punjab State Warehousing Corporation (PSWC)

Brief Company Profile: Punjab State Warehousing Corporation (PSWC) with a network of 114 Warehouses in the state of Punjab, having total storage capacity of 58.73 lac MTs, 150 Procurement Centres, 2 Container Freight Stations and 3 Inland Container Depots is the largest State Warehousing Corporation of India and accounts for more than 40% of the total combined capacity of all the State Warehousing Corporations in India and is also the 2^nd largest CFS Operator in Northern India.
